Host Club Information - Rydges Resort Hunter Valley

Have you booked your accommodation yet? If not, our host venue, Rydges Resort Hunter Valley has provided special event accommodation discount codes for kids and parents taking part in the tournament!  The event is in the school holidays so I understand that it is still quite expensive for many families (sorry), but every possible saving helps!

Being in the Hunter Valley, there are lots of accommodation options for all budgets and everything is fairly close, so you're most definitely not obligated to stay at the host venue.

 

 

Tournament Office

  • The Tournament Office at Rydges Resort Hunter Valley will be located in the corner of the Lovedale Bar, near the glass doors to the back deck overlooking the 9th / 18th Green.
  • Players can access the tournament office via the Pro Shop (enter and head down the corridor on the left) or via any of the Lovedale Bar Entry Points.
  • Players must register in the tournament office before their round to collect their scorecard. 
  • Players must return to the tournament office immediately after their round to hand their scorecard in.

 

 

Clubhouse Opening Hours

  • The Clubhouse will be open from ?
  • The Restuarant will be open from ? to ? (breakfast) and from ? (dinner), Monday to Friday.
  • Coffee will be available from the Clubhouse, from ?

 

 

Pro Shop Opening Hours

  • The Proshop will be open from ?
  • In addition to breakfast / lunch being available from the Clubhouse Restaurant, the Proshop will also have Pies / Sausage Rolls / Sandwiches / Chocolate Bars / Drinks for players and parents to purchase during the day.

 

 

Practice Facilities

  • Rydges Resort Hunter Valley has the following Practice Facilities
    • Putting Green (adjacent to the 1st Tee)
    • Chipping Green (on the way to the 10th Tee)
    • There is no Driving Range at Rydges Resort.
    • The Practice Facilities at Rydges Resort Hunter Valley will be open from 6:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.
       
  • Players wishing to warm up at a driving range may use the Driving Range located at Cypress Lakes Golf & Country Club. Please note - The Cypress Lakes Golf & Country Club Practice Facilities will be open / closed at the following times.

 

 

Cypress Lakes Practice Facilities Opening Times

 

Monday

  • Driving Range, Putting Green and Chipping Green will be open for use all day.
  • 6:00am > 6:00pm
  • All players will receive 1 warmup bucket which can be used at any time on the Monday.

 

Cypress Lakes – Driving Range Tournament Conditions

  • All players will receive 1 warmup bucket per day, to be collected from the pro shop.
  • These can be used in the 5:15am > 8:00am and the 9:30am > 1:00pm sessions.
  • Players wishing to use the range in the 2:30pm > 5:00pm session can purchase balls from the pro shop.
  • Driving Range to close in between morning / afternoon sessions to allow for ball collection and maintenance.

 

Tuesday > Friday

  • The Driving Range at Cypress Lakes Golf & Country Club will be open / closed at the following times.
  • Open from 5:15am > 8:00am
  • Closed from 8:00am > 9:30am for ball collection / maintenance
  • Open from 9:30am > 1:00pm
  • Closed from 1:00pm > 2:30pm for ball collection / maintenance
  • Open from 2:30pm > 5:30pm
  • Closed from 5:30pm for ball collection / maintenance

 

  • The Chipping Green at Cypress Lakes Golf & Country Clubwill be open all day from 5:15am > 6:00pm.

 

  • The Putting Green at Cypress Lakes Golf & Country Club will be open / closed at the following times.
  • Open from 5:15am > 8:15am
  • Closed from 8:15am > 9:45am for maintenance
  • Open from 9:45am > 2:45pm
  • Closed from 2:45pm > 4:15pm for maintenance
  • Open from 4:15pm > 6:15pm
  • Closed from 6:15pm
